Hey! Am wondering who misses my daily posts. Don't think this change affects much since I'm not popular and all.
Had band practice today at the ISH. We sounded fairly soft. Mr Yu said that some sections could not be heard at all but said nothing about me. I feel so invisible, without a proper section in the main band and not being called. Well I didn't think that the practice went well. We had to go at a really slow tempo that confused me at some parts.
Our lunch was provided! It tasted quite good, actually. But everything was spicy. Ate about half or more of it since we were running out of time and I couldn't really take the spicyness. Taufiq came and got a free lunch too, hahas.
Headed off to NAS Primary for their event. First time seeing it. Looks fairly big and colourful for a primary school. I kinda miss my old school, even though its just one or two blocks away.
Placed the percussion instruments up and gathered on the stage. We didn't sound that soft and I thought that it was rather good. Announcer said that Symphonuim was her favourite, if I didn't hear it wrongly.
Some of the kids there were cutely small, hahas. Was so thirsty, no drinks were provided. Shifted instruments back up the lorry/truck (can't find the difference) and went to the bus.
Reached the school and we had to place our instruments in the bomb shelter. First time entering there even though I'm already a secondary 3. Yea. Either that or I have a horrible memory. The staircase was so narrow. Got quite squashed up against the wall when trying to bring the percussion instruments down.
Told that all our belongings in the band room at the fifth floor would remain there until monday morning as the alarm-activated shutter was already closed that there was nothing we could do. Ah shit. My school bag was in there, along with my wallet, pencil case, bottle, calculator etc. Wonder what I'll bring on monday... Some people tried to make a guy break into the building through the staircase. It had a big gap in the fence thing surrounding it that he could have fitted through. The intention only managed to get the guy up there outside the fence.
We had some sort of cheer. Committee had to stay back for a discussion. Had to swap phone numbers.
Will start on my homework tomorrow... I'm so hungry now. :/
Gonna play my DS today! Its been weeks since I last had a long session of gaming. Stressed. Maybe this is why I've been weaker emotionally. I probably may break down one day.
TODAY, AT 8.30PM IS EARTH HOUR! Probably going to spend it teasing my dog or sleeping.
