Wow I think I forgot most of the stuff that happened. Shall try blogging anyways.
Was absent from this blog as this week was a class test madness. Yep... 6 tests in 1 week. Wee!
Chemistry, English and Social Studies on Tuesday.
Chemistry was first period. The test was alright. We had to draw quite a lot. My circles looked like ovals... I can't draw circles well!
We then had english and we did the letter writing test.
Followed by CCM where our group had to go to the front and perform our skit.
Physics, we did some revision and stuff.
Social Studies. My hand was so tired after the test and I'm almost certain I'll fail.
Had 3 tests and CCA after school, gosh I was so tired. Plus I had to study for history the next day and do my homework.
History on Wednesday.
Bio... we did something. Yeah.
Chemistry. We went to the lab, I believe. And did some experiment that I kept messing up. The magnesium ribbon kept sticking onto the testtube so my timing wasn't correct. My graph looked amazingly curvy. First time I drew a graph with 2 curves.
E Math teacher wasn't there so we took the time to study for our history test.
More physics! Teacher's army story sure was interesting. (No sarcasm intended)
And then history. The test had some question with a format I don't think I have done before. Hope my essay sounded convincing though.
Stayed back after school with Athirah. It was my duty to open the band room door. And so we decided to spent the time doing our librian duties. Gosh being one is harder than expected... We had to compile all the scores into a directory (or whatever you call it) and arrange the cupboard. The entire, filled-up cupboard with papers bundled together with nothing other than a thin plastic. Sweet. Did I mention that I'm horrible at organising things? Doing the directory thing should be ok since I'm find with writing. But doing it first-hand? Oh no. Am so lucky that I got to work together with Athirah.
Bio on Thursday.
PE. Did the stations but I only managed to do the inclinced pull-up and sit-and-reach. The ICP was kinda bad. The metal thing shook while I was doing it because somehow, Grace and Wei Chuan, who were standing beside and were supposed to support it were just staring. So I only managed to get up to a 6 before I lost my grip due to the shaking. Oh well. Just passing my PE is enough for me. No hard feelings.
A Math. Got back our tests and weee I am pleased. Over A1.
Long chinese period. I forgot what I was doing.... I remember leaving studying my bio though. Teacher allowed us to do her work as homework.
Bio test. Some questions surprised me at being so simple while others just left me staring. So yeah. Should be able to pass, though maybe around the borderline?
CME. Talked about some international friendship thing. Realised that a Thumbs Up was considered an insult in some country whose name I forgot. Now I don't think I can stop myself from feeling insulted when getting a thumbs up. We also somehow broke out into a birthday song suddenly through the lesson. Whole class sang along though, for the birthday girl.
Physics on Friday.
First period was physics. Was almost late as we had to go all the way up to the class and to another building to the lab. The test was as of the same standard as Bio, but slightly harder in my opinion. Left an entire question blank...
A Math. Went through the chapter and I got kinda lost. I actually learnt more from doing the worksheet myself than with that assistant teacher...
E Math. Got back our test results from last week. I over an A1, yay.
Band practice on friday. We went to the room above the MPH again and did sectionals. Athirah and I gave out the scores. Practiced a little of here and there on both songs before we somehow turned into a small combined. It was so messy.
I went back with others to do more on the library stuff. We finally finished section A of the directory. Just 25 more sections to do... *winces*
And then today's band practice. We did marching and I screwed up at some commands. As in, I didn't do the right action.
Headed back to the band room and to the ISH. Had combined with the juniors! Thats a rare chance. Played Foundation of Performance. Couldn't really see Jun Yuan's fingering but he should be ok. Seems like he didn't need much of my help at reading the scores, that was good. Then we did Landmark Overture. I got some kind of melody and managed to play even the high notes. Also managed the middle section of the song where I had another. Yay. But I seem to lack air though, had to breathe a little too oftenly.
Sec1s were allow to go off to practice by themselves to stay with the main band to hear us play. Our playing kinda deproved on the 2 songs.
The original scores for FoP was still with the sec1s and some of them already had left. Got to tell them that originals can't be brought back soon...
